How to convert PDF file to Excel file?
To convert a PDF file to Excel worksheet maybe usually used in our daily work. If there is only one column as screenshot A shown, you can easily copy it and paste it to a worksheet. But if there is a table with multiple columns in the PDF as screenshot B shown, when you paste the table into worksheet, all data are pasted into a column or a cell. Now I will introduce a good way to quickly solve this problem in Excel.

After installing Kutools for Excel, please do as below:(Free Download Kutools for Excel Now!)
1. Select the table in the PDF you want to convert to Excel, and then press Ctrl + C to copy it. See screenshot:
2. Then apply Excel, and select a blank cell, here I select A1, and press Ctrl + V to paste it. Here the table is pasted into a column. See screenshot:
Tip: Sometimes in windows 8 system, the table may be pasted into one cell. In this condition, select this cell, and click the Data > Text to Columns > Delimited to split the cell to a row. See screen shot below.
Then change the row to a column with copying the row by pressing Ctrl + C, next right clicking a blank cell and selecting Paste Special > Transpose (T).
3. Now click Kutools > Range > Transform Range. See screenshot:
4. Then in the Transform Range dialog, check Single column to range option, and go down to check Fixed value, and type the number of columns you need in the next text box. Here, my data is in three columns, I type 3 into it. See screenshot:
5. Click Ok, a dialog popped out for you to select a cell to put out the result.
6. Click OK. Now you can see the data has been correctly transformed to a range with the same format in PDF.
Convert each Excel worksheet to separate PDF file with Kutools for Excel
If you have Kutools for Excel, you can apply the Split Workbook utility to quickly convert each sheet of the current workbook to separate single PDF file.
After installing Kutools for Excel, please do as below:(Free Download Kutools for Excel Now!)
1. Enable the workbook you want to split its worksheet into PDF format, and click Kutools Plus > Workbook > Split Workbook.
2. Then in the popping dialog, check Specify save format option, and the select PDF(*.pdf) from the below drop down list, and the click Split, and then specify a fplder to put the converted files. See screenshot:
3. Click OK, and now each sheet of the workbook has been converted to separate PDF file in the folder.
Note:You also can split workbok into separate CSV, workbook or text files withSplit Workbook.
